Originally from Tinley Park, Dr. Przekwas attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies in Zoology and Animal Behavior. She then moved back to Illinois to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2023.
Following graduation, she practiced for one year in Champaign at a well-established canine and feline veterinary clinic. Her interests include preventative care, shelter medicine, soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography. Dr. Przekwas is excited to be practicing in the community that she calls home.
Dr. Przekwas is Fear Free Certified and dedicated to providing as low stress of an experience as possible for both pets and their owners. She emphasizes the importance of communication and collaboration with owners to achieve exceptional care.
In her free time, Dr. Przekwas enjoys spending time with her family, friends, significant other, and the family dog Lilah – a smart, vivacious, and loving black labrador mix. Her hobbies include outdoor activities such as hiking or bird watching, bread making, Pilates, and reading.
